Hi, I'm Lisa

My passion is to support women like you to prioritise self-care, nurture your body & calm the mind so you can feel less overwhelmed & more connected in your life & with those you love. 

I am a holistic health coach, mindfulness mentor, & that person who just has to share all the “healthy stuff” because I want my family & friends to be the best versions of themselves! 

I was an unwell child which led me to continuously looking for answers on how to be healthier. I have always been open to caring for my body holistically & my wellbeing journey continues today – there is always something new to learn.

Over the years I have learned that a healthy mind is where the magic happens! 

The exciting part now is that there is science to back the ancient wisdom – there is so much more we know now on why mindset matters.

My Calm Life Project

A few years ago I realised that stress in my body had overwhelmed me to the point that my health was suffering. I was unable to give my time and energy to the people and things that were important to me. I was forced to step back and take a good look at why little things were overwhelming and the usual challenges we have in life felt so stressful. I could see that my emotions were feeding into family life and I realised something needed to change. 

As a passionate reader of self-help books and a life long learner who soaks up information on how to be a healthier, I realised that I needed to put some focus back onto me. I took a good look at what wasn’t going right and started arming myself with new tools to calm my mind and body. 

My calm life project began!

Calm is a superpower

Learning to calm the body and mind by being more present in your daily life brings clarity, creativity, new perspectives, more joy & happiness into your life.  Here’s three important discoveries I would like to share with you:

Managing stress & regulating emotions is the key.

Stress isn't all bad. In fact it's essential in the body but it can overwhelm resulting in numerous negative effects on our health. It's important to learn how stress affects you and how to regulate both stress and emotions in your body, even more so if you are a parent as our kids can feed off us.

Making time for YOU is essential

If you don't make time to look after yourself and do what you love, your body and mind will suffer. Only when you are healthy and thriving can you care for the ones you love.

Hitting pause & reflecting inwards has so many health benefits.

Self-reflection is so important if you want to change how you show up in your life. Starting new habits such as meditation and mindfulness teaches you to be more present. Making space to just be, brings clarity and calm. Learning to be mindful in your life and with those you love is a powerful skill that can bring profound positive changes.

I am currently training as a holistic counsellor at the Australian School of Holistic Counselling to add to my 25+ years of experience working as a media & marketing consultant for small business owners.

I am in mid-life, enjoying a new freedom to pursue my passions after a period of my own calm life project and some challenging years of parenting.

Now I am turning my attention to women like you who want to unlock your own inner calm, regulate your emotions, work through any self-limiting beliefs, be clearer on what you want in life and build better connections with those you love.
